If you are a carer for someone with a mental health condition, and the person you care for needs the urgent assistance of a mental health care professional, please use the following details:
During office hours (Mon- Fri, 9-5pm)- Please visit your GP, or your social worker/ care coordinator if you have one.
Out of Hours (After 5pm)- If the care coordinator/social worker/ GP is not available please contact the Crisis team on 023 9268 3400.
As a carer, if you need someone to talk to, please contact the Carers Centre on 023 9285 1864, or at carerscentre@portsmouthcc.gov.uk. The Carers Centre can provide a wide range of support for Adult Mental Health carers, which ranges from emotional support, to signposting, to accessing local carers groups.
